Experience
The rewards of private tutoring for struggling students is priceless. Tutors like myself feel a sense of satisfaction when we help students reach their target grades and improve their confidence in mathematics, English and academically as a whole. It is gratifying to help students over mind-blocks, assisting the student reveal a new way of looking at a problem or a new perspective on a solution is what I try to achieve. As a Tutor, I can rely on both my subject expertise and my creativity to excite enthusiasm and understanding in my students; I t is a uniquely challenging but immensely rewarding job role. I remain in constant dialogue with my students and able to cultivate a unique relationship with them. It is extremely rewarding when students achieve the success they strive for. To achieve these goals, I have completed the necessary examinations that qualify me for a Teaching certificate (elementary Mathematics, writing, Reading), I have my 45 DCF hours and most important of all, I enjoy teaching. Kindergarten - Grade 6, are my preference, I can go beyond that as I completed calculus 1-3, discrete mathematics and quantitative math in college. However, methods have changed in the past few years in Duval county. I will need to read over students texts and teach them according to the new methods. *** National Background check available to be viewed.
