Education

University of Florida - Bachelors, Biology , University of South Florida-Main Campus - PhD, Genetics and Ecology (focus on genetics)

Experience

I'm currently attending the University of South Florida for my doctoral degree in genetics and ecology. I also work in the biology department on campus. I attended the University of Florida for my bachelor's degree in biology, and I really enjoy teaching and researching, so it let me to continue on in my studies. I began tutoring informally as a middle school student when I realized that I was able to explain concepts to students in ways that are easier to understand than they were in the classroom. Eventually I had my own tutoring business. At the University of South Florida, I work as a teaching assistant in a number of courses as well. Subjects I tutor include algebra, anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, English, life sciences, pre-algebra, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, social sciences, psychology, biochemistry, biostatistics, geometry, ACT prep, MCAT prep, SAT prep, and others. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, soccer, wrestling, and video games.
