Experience
I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing sports and going to the gym when I'm not working with students. As a tutor, I'm able to provide lessons in a wide variety of math topics such as trigonometry, multivariable calculus, and college algebra. I'm a recent graduate with a degree in math. I got interested in becoming a tutor when my older brother was taking a calculus class and struggling. Not knowing what to do, my brother turned to me for help. I wasn't sure how I would handle working with him, but I knew I wanted to help. I realized when I started working with him that I was able to help him out, and I got such a great feeling from helping him succeed in his class. Because of that interaction with my brother, I fell in love with the process of tutoring. Now, I've discovered that I absolutely love helping others learn subjects that they are struggling with. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when a student I'm working with is finally able to grasp something that they've never understood before. I hope I can use the passion I have for math and teaching to help you reach all of your math-related goals.
