Experience
I absolutely love tutoring math! I have a Bachelor of Mathematics and Sociology, as well as a Master of Arts degree. I have previous experience working as a tutor in a tutoring lab. Also, in the nineties I worked for a commercial tutoring company! I have experience teaching both high school and college students. Because I had such a great academic experience, I love tutoring algebra and geometry. Additionally, I enjoy helping with test prep. I have experience with tutoring online and in-person; however, since I already teach two classes online, I think I would best serve online students. I know learning can be difficult, especially mathematics. I always remind my students to just slow down and breathe. I believe that when a pupil wants to learn teaching and tutoring is the best job in the world. I am excited to be able to share my knowledge and experience with others. I look forward to getting to know new people and learning about them as well! Outside of the classroom, you can find me practicing yoga, I am very passionate about it.
