Education

Graduated from North Georgia University with a B.S. in Social Science with a Minor in Biology. I have a Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate (Social Sciences Grades 6-12) I am CAR-PD trained which qualifies a teacher to incorporate reading and writing strategies into any subject curriculum providing intervention for students to improve and pass standardized exams. Currently studying for exams that will give me additional certifications in ESE(all grade levels) & Biology (grades 6-12).

Experience

Instructed high school students in a variety of on-line virtual courses school designed for students who excel at their own pace, suffered an illness, travel because of athletics or maybe need some extra credits in order to graduate. Coordinated and supervised the after-school extended day program. Responsibilities included collaborating with the teachers to develop tutoring strategies for students as well as keeping parents up to date with their child's progress. In addition to working for the public school systems I have worked for private tutoring companies teaching students of all ages a variety of subjects and helping them prepare for a variety of standardized exams including SAT, FCAT, EOC, ECT...
