ExperiencesAs a 12-year veteran of the journalism industry, I have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the finest writers, photographers, copy editors, and columnists in the nation. Those experiences, alongside my three years of teaching, guided me toward understanding what it takes to be a successful tutor, guide, mentor, and educator for today's youth. Whether it be in the classroom as a writing teacher, special education teacher, or language arts teacher, I have had the pleasure of learning from some of the top educators in the Midwest and now Florida. I understand what it takes to get results. I may not be perfect, but I'm continuously learning how to mix the experience and creativity I have in my own lessons with those I work with on a daily basis. I am a firm believer in building hands-on, interactive, and engaging curriculum around the individual needs of the students and/or helping them reach their highest potential.
