I have tutoring experience on both a professional and volunteer basis. I currently work as a sixth grade math teacher in Duval County Public Schools, but I am certified to teach any math from grades 6-12. I served as a City Year Corps member in Jacksonville last year, a non-profit focused on reducing the dropout rate. I worked as a teacher's assistant in advanced algebra and geometry classes, where I worked with struggling high school students. I also worked for KIPP middle school charter school as a math tutor for 4th-6th grade students. I also have experience tutoring high school students in ACT and SAT math, and I scored in the 99th percentile in both Reading and Math on both exams. I truly enjoying helping students succeed in math have taken advanced college courses in both statistics and calculus.

I am a very patient and compassionate tutor and I understand that students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. I am a friendly and outgoing person who enjoys playing tennis, swimming, playing the piano, and meeting new people!
