Nothing beats the fun and joy of helping a student to be happy and successful! I have served as a member of the Florida House of Representative, I have hosted a local talk show, I have managed radio stations...but working with my granddaughters or with other students is more satisfying than anything else I have done. When I was in high school I was the recipient of many awards. For example, the top statewide STAR student scholarship award of the Chamber, Merit Scholar, first clarinetist in the All American High School Band, school salutatorian, President of the Duval County Student Council Association, top statewide winner in the N.H.S. competition, top Duval score in the statewide Regents senior high school test. I am ready to help students set big goals and then to tackle the goals. If your student needs help catching up with the class, fine, we will do it. And if your student needs help in going beyond that, I can help your student pursue academic goals far beyond just catching up. I have a B.A. from Dartmouth and I have a law degree from the University of Florida. On various high school tests, including the SAT, I was in the top one-half of 99th percentile nationally.
