Education
Bachelor's Degree as an Elementary Education Major at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. I am certified to teach grades K-6, and I have current Reading and ESOL Endorsements. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Literacy at Jacksonville University, where my coursework has covered topics from general research to learning disabilities, to the science behind learning.
Experience
I have tutored from ages 6 to 40, specifically in the following subjects: Elementary Reading, Writing, and Math; College Algebra. All of my elementary students have shown progress, and the three College Algebra students I tutored ended with A's and B's in their classes. I am currently teaching at the elementary level, and would like to utilize my skills outside of the classroom as a private tutor. I have experience with ESL students as well as students with reading disabilities, including dyslexia.

Hobbies
I dedicate the majority of my time working or thinking about my classes! However, outside of teaching, I enjoy pursuing artistic hobbies including painting and sewing. I also enjoy traveling, especially to mountainous destinations where I can go for a good hike.
