I have a knack and passion for teaching and communicating with a wide array of people of all ages in different kinds of learning environments. I have been a teachers assistant at Jacksonville University, helping planning teaching material, labs, and field trips for a college level conservation biology course. I also have led eco-tourism kayaking trips through Maryland's coastal bay system, educating guests about various aspects of marine ecology. I've worked child care and camps for various facilities working with children on their after school homework. I also, like to educate others in sustaining a healthy lifestyle by teaching weight lifting classes such as body pump. I enjoy tutoring in all subjects that I can, yet specialize in biology, botany, cartography, chemistry, climatology, ecology, geology, ichthyology, and physics specifically. I thoroughly enjoy helping others learn in their own unique way while being extremely encouraging and positive :).

I like to think of myself as a women who wears many hats having a variety of hobbies and interests form indoor to outdoor activities. I enjoy walking my German Shepard/Husky mix Zelda, running, swimming, biking (triathlons), surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and gardening. I also paint, play piano, sing, read, listen to music, dance, and write in my spare time. I'm always up to try anything new and love to make the best out of any situation!
